TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Westside Private Charters reserves the right to charge you, the client, a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking amount if cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. Once booked there is a set $75 cancellation fee for all 8 seater bookings, $100 for all 14 seater bookings and $150 for all 25 seater bookings.

 

2. Waiting time rates will apply after the first 10 minutes and will be charged in 15 minute increments at a rate of $99.00 per hour inc GST. This does not apply to flight delays.

 

3. Westside Private Charters reserves the right to charge 100% of the fare for any no show.

 

4. Public Holidays – A 20% surcharge applies.

 

5. A deposit is required to secure all bookings.

 

6. Full payment for the entirety of the hire must be received by Westside Private Charters on the first drop off either via cash or credit Card on the day or EFT 48 hours before booking day.

 

7. Payment can be made via EFT, credit card or cash.

 

8. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that payment is made in full. The hirer also accepts responsibility for any damage made to the vehicle by them or members of their group during their hire and as such will cover the costs of repair.

 

9. Invoice payment terms are 7 days unless otherwise agreed by Stephen. All over due invoice’s will incur a late payment fee of 10% per week.

 

10. The hirer is also responsible for any cleaning costs associated with soiling of any nature during the term of your hire. Spillages will be charged at $50.00 and any sickness in the bus $250.00 which must be paid within 48 hours.

 

11. The hirer and the members of their group accept responsibility for their own belongings and must ensure they check the vehicle
 upon exiting to ensure they have all of their items. Of course if you do leave something in the vehicle we will do our best to get it back to you as quickly as possible.

 

7. By law, the maximum number of driving hours permitted in a day is 10 and these hours must also be complete with rest breaks.

 

8. Overnight regional trips will also incur a charge for driver accommodation.

 

9. Any additional pick up/drop offs must be agreed with the driver beforehand. Please don’t take it for granted that we can carry out your change in plans.

 

10. Our driver’s will arrive a few minutes earlier than your booking time, there’s no need to come out early. We will wait 10 minutes as we understand people run late but after 10 minutes we will start charging you waiting time. (see 2)

 

11. Cancellation of a confirmed charter may result in some or all of the deposit being forfeited as ‘fair damages’ or ‘loss of profit’. Cancellations must be made in writing via email.

 

12. Westside reserves the right to refuse transportation to any person who appears to be under the influence of intoxicating drinks or drugs or who is unable to conduct themselves in a respectable manner. We reserve the right to refuse transportation to any person whose conduct might be considered objectionable to other passengers.

 

13. CONSUMPTION of alcohol and illicit drugs on the buses is prohibited by law and is not permissible. There is a NO SMOKING policy on all Westside vehicles.

 

14. Anti-social, violent or otherwise dangerous behaviour by passengers may result in the service being terminated immediately. This will occur at the discretion of our driver, and may forfeit all monies paid to Westside.
